Wingstop lands in Bear


Wingstophas opened a location in Bear at Glendale Plaza near the intersection of Routes 40 and 7.

Wingstop got its start in 1994 as a Buffalo-style chicken wing restaurant in Garland, TX It now has 1,100 mainly franchised restaurants open across the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

The menu consists of wings, celery and carrot sticks, fries, rolls, and desserts.

The Texas-based chain that is sometimes compared to Buffalo Wild Wings, even though the only common element is chicken wings. BWW also has a location in the Bear-Glasgow area.

Buffalo Wild Wings operates sports bars and restaurants, while Wingstop has a limited menu and soft drinks. (See earlier story
