WOW air to offer lower-fare service from Baltimore-Washington to Delhi

WOW air will launch low-fare service from Baltimore-Washington to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, India  in December.

 The route, which first travels to Iceland,  will provide millions of Americans in nine major cities across the country affordable access to the Indian metropolis.

The route will launch December 5, 2018. One-way fares will start at $199 with services such as baggage at an extra charge.  Premium service will be available for $699.

Baltimore-Washington will join Newark, Boston, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles and St. Louis in offering the connecting flights.

WOW air will use   Airbus A330neo aircraft on the Delhi route,  outfitted with the new premium seats offering  37 inches of legroom. 

The Iceland-based airline serves 39 destinations across Europe and North America including Dublin, London, Paris, Berlin, and Copenhagen.
