Nanticoke Physician Network names coordinator
The Nanticoke Physician Network announced that Kimberly Hyatt has been named Bariatric Program Coordinator for Nanticoke Weight Loss and General Surgery. Since 2016, Hyatt has worked at Nanticoke Weight Loss as a bariatric dietitian and will continue to see patients in addition to her new duties as Program Coordinator. [Not a valid template]
Hyatt graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Prior to obtaining her registration, she worked as a nutrition educator in the school district of Philadelphia. She is a 2010 graduate of the dietetic internship at Immaculata University in Pennsylvania and is currently a licensed dietitian in Maryland and Delaware.
3 join Wohlsen Construction team
Wohlsen Construction Company announced three new members of the Delaware Valley team: Rocco Lano and James Campbell are joining as superintendents, and Justin Miller is joining as an MEP field coordinator.
Lano, a graduate of Wilmington University, has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years. He has experience leading complex construction projects in the region.
Also joining as a superintendent is Campbell, who returns to Wohlsen with over 34 years of experience in the construction industry. Campbell earned his Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Delaware Technical Community College.
Miller comes to the company as an MEP Field Coordinator and is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering.
Karins Engineering, Inc.announces new staffers
Karins Engineering welcomed John V. Mettee, III, Professional Land Surveyor, to their headquarters in Newark. Mettee is a licensed professional land surveyor. He studied engineering at both Harford Community College and Johns Hopkins University.
Mettee will be the Director of Karins’ newly-formed Maryland Division and will be responsible for the leadership and expansion into the Maryland market area.
Sam Caltagirone has joined Karins and Associates in the survey department at the Georgetown office. He graduated from Delaware Technical Community College with an Introduction to AutoCAD Certification. Caltagirone has 15 years of field and drafting experience
Dave McCloskey is located in the Bryn Mawr, PA, office as a Staff Engineer. McCloskey earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from West Virginia University. He obtained his Engineer in Training license and is currently working towards his Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Michael Brereton recently joined Karins and Associates full-time following his graduation from the University of Delaware. He completed his degree in Civil Engineering.
Lindsey joins Santora CPA Group
Santora CPA Group announced that Ariana L. Lindsey has joined the firm as a bookkeeper in the Tax Department. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
Carl M. Freeman Companies names senior vice president
Carl M. Freeman Companies announced that Josh Mastrangelo has joined the company as the Senior Vice President for the Rockville, MD based company. He will lead the communities, land development and staff management divisions for Carl M. Freeman Companies reporting out of their Ocean View, DE office.
Prior to joining, Mastrangelo served as President of Evergreene Homes Eastern Shore division for seven years. Prior to that position, he led sales and land acquisition for Pulte Homes in Maryland and Delaware. In both positions he oversaw the acquiring, designing, entitling, and constructing of complex real estate deals. During his career he has been involved in recruiting, training, supervising and providing performance reviews for staff.
Mastrangelo earned a master’s degree in urban and regional planning and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Delaware in Newark.
Wilmington Mayor announces new members of management team
Mayor Mike Purzycki today announced five additions to Wilmington’s government management team.
Appointed were:
Former Wilmington Police Chief Michael Boykin has been appointed to serve as the Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Licenses and Inspections. Boykin will start on July 2 and will be paid $87,000 annually.
Former City Budget Manager Brett Taylor has been appointed to serve as the Deputy Director of the Department of Finance. Taylor will start on July 23 and will be paid $105,000 annually.
Former City Cultural Affairs Director Tina Betz has been appointed to resume her role as Cultural Affairs Director starting on July 2. Betz will be paid $82,000 annually.
Former Wilmington Fire Chief Willie Patrick has been appointed to serve as Director of the Office of Emergency Management. Patrick will start on July 2 and will be paid $105,000 annually.
Former Real Estate and Housing (RE&H) Director Bob Weir has been appointed to resume his RE&H role as Director starting on July 9. Weir will be paid $113,000 annually.
Easterseals names board member
Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore welcomed Mindi Moore Tunnell, of Lewes, to its Board of Directors.
