All Classics Ltd, a designer, and manufacturer of bronze mascots announced it began the casting phase of this custom sculpture made exclusively for Yale University.

The Newark company, which  crafts one-of-a-kind or production run bronze sculptures for residential and commercial projects, will be working to complete this design for a middle to late summer completion for Yale’s campus.

“We are thrilled to create this custom project with Yale and showcase our foundry’s talent with this photo opportunity style artwork”, says owner of All Classics Ltd, Darren Hussey. “Their passion and dedication to having amazing artwork on campus will really inspire new students and future alumni.”

The company used a photo of Yale’s bulldog mascot wearing his jersey then incorporated the design into a bronze bench for photo ops for social media, personal photos and other groups.

With sticking to their budget, All Classics Ltd used a mold for an existing bench.

The company reported that the deal became official before Christmas of 2017 and sculpting of the Yale Mascot began the first part of 2018.  The hand-sculpted 1:1 scale model was approved by Lauren Zucker and other members on March 19th, 2018.

Jason Spohn, vice president of All Classics Ltd had this to say, “We are delighted to be working with Yale University on this idea they had of putting their bulldog mascot on a bench for photo opportunities and creating a “touchstone” for students to embrace on their amazing campus.  From doing custom designs for Robert Morris University, Towson University and a laundry list of others, we enjoy what we do as we give 100 percent to every custom design without adding any artist ego to keep quality without going over budget.”
