The Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau announced a  new Incentive+ Program for meeting planners considering New Castle County for their next corporate meeting, association event, youth sports tournament and other mid-sized gatherings.

The program expands on the  Transportation Incentive with a larger set of offerings designed to entice and attract new business to New Castle County hotels and meeting venues.

Eligibility for the Incentive+ Program requires 100 or more room nights in a Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitor Bureau member hotel within New Castle County. Groups meeting this requirement are eligible to receive up to an eight-dollar credit per room night.

“We have four qualified partners,” says Jessica Bittmann, director of sales at the GWCVB. “The planners can choose from Delaware Express for guest’s transportation needs, hire an emcee or host team building exercises with The Fun Dept., print signage, posters and handouts with DLS Discovery or create memorable promotional items with Unique Impressions.”

Additionally, meeting planners booking a minimum of 400 room nights for two or more consecutive nights at two or more eligible New Castle County hotels can receive up to an additional five-dollar rebate per room night.
