Ranalla1The Wall That Heals  Vietnam exhibit will arrive at the Delaware Technical Community College Owens Campus on August 31 at 12:30 p.m. and depart on September 4 at 4 p.m. The exhibit will be open around the clock.

The Wall That Heals is a 250-foot replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. and includes a mobile education center honoring the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces during the Vietnam War. The wall bears the names of the more than 58,000 men and women who died in the war.

The exhibit’s mobile education center, located on the exterior sides of the 53’ commercial trailer that hauls The Wall That Heals, shares four primary aspects – a timeline/map of the Vietnam War, a display of photographs inscribed on The Wall, a small portion of items left behind at The Wall, and an explanation of the legacy of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

Delaware Tech has stepped up efforts to honor and assist veterans.
