State Police release photo of men whose statements halted concert

Susp Subjs 01Delaware State Police have released a photo of two individuals who allegedly made statements that led to the cancellation of a concert on Sunday night.  The incident took place around 2:55 p.m. on Sunday July 3 when two males entered the Americana Bayside Welcome Center near Selbyville and made “alarming” statements to an employee at the desk.

As a result, due to heightened security concerns and for the safety of the public, “The Band Perry” which was scheduled to perform at The Freeman Stage at Bayside later that evening, postponed the concert until a later date. 

No further details of the statements were released.

 The suspects depicted in the surveillance photos are white males, 20-30 years of age, one wearing a green t-shirt and shorts, and the other wearing a purple t-shirt and blue shorts.
