Food Lion in Bear robbed

Delaware State Police are currently investigating the armed robbery of a Bear area grocery store that occurred on July 4th.
 
The investigation has determined that the incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Monday when a man   suspect entered the Food Lion at 1607 Pulaski Highway, Bear.
The suspect entered into a checkout lane of the store where he  produced an unknown make and model handgun and confronted a female cashier. He then demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register before exiting the store and fleeing in an eastbound direction. There were no injuries. 
 
The suspect was described as an unknown race male. He was 5’08”-6’00” tall, weighed 175 to 200 pounds  and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved black t-shirt, black pants, brown boots, and a full motorcycle helmet. No further physical or clothing description is  available.
