Jan Wu, of Hockessin, a strategy analyst for Navient, a leading loan management, servicing and asset recovery company, received the company’s Solutions Navigator Award for job excellence.
The award, which was presented by John Kane, group president of asset recovery and business services, is given to one Navient employee each quarter who demonstrates one or more of Navient’s core values: customer-centricity, proactivity, leadership, stability, and integrity.
Wu was recognized for her leadership not only through her role in helping the company increase the likelihood of connecting with borrowers who need assistance but through her willingness to help others and go beyond her normal call of duty on the job.
“Showing up to work every day with a positive attitude and asking the right questions during meetings has helped me to perform my job effectively,” said Wu after receiving the award. “My personal ambition is weaved into Navient’s values, which is helping our clients along the path to financial success.”
Wu also received Navient’s monthly Values in Action Recognition in December, recognizing exemplary job performance. Wu joined Navient in 2015 and enjoys spending time swimming and going to the movies.
