Woman at Milford spa charged with prostitution

One person has been charged with prostitution after an investigation by Milford Police.

On Thursday, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Drug Unit arrested Guang Yang, 46 of Flushing, NY  at  King Spa in the 900 block of North DuPont Highway.

Yang, according to police offered to perform a sex act in exchange for money on an undercover officer who had been sent in by detectives.

The undercover officer refused the offer and left the business.  A search warrant was later obtained and executed by officers from the Milford Police Department and the Delaware State Police on Thursday night.

Police seized documents, electronic devices, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

As officers entered the business, Yang attempted to flee out a rear door but was apprehended.

Yang was taken into custody and transported to the Milford Police Department, where she was charged with Prostitution and Resisting Arrest.

She was released on  $750 unsecured bond.
