Wilmington-based Carvertise won Technical.ly’s Delaware’ top award as Delaware Innovation Week came to a close.
Carvertise has more than 100 “carvertisers” on the road with 15,000 drivers registered, and a client roster that includes Thomas Jefferson, Wilmington University, and ShopRite.
The company was named Delaware’s 2015 Tech Startup of The Year
The Carvertise team of 11 employees recently raised a six-figure investment from Delawarean investors last summer.
Founded in 2012, Carvertise is a privately held out-of-home media company that specializes in car advertising.
Carvertise places brand messages on privately owned vehicles of high-mileage commuters who gain exposure in areas of geographic interest.
Since its founding in 2012, Carvertise revenue has been growing at a 400 percent annual rate.
