In a less than 24-hour period, two events seemed to indicate that the northern Delaware economy was turning the corner as JPMorgan Chase announced that it will add 1,800 jobs in coming years. The next day, Corporation Service Co. broke ground on a new headquarters that will house much of the company’s nearly 950-person workforce.
Still, the week came with the reminder of the troubles at DuPont Co. as its new interim CEO and management team worked to find ways to cut costs and reduce overhead.
