Incyte named to list of  Most Innovative Companies

 Incyte Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company has been ranked 7th on Forbes magazine’s 2015 list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies.

Forbes’ ranking is based on the companies’ “innovation premium”, and only includes industries that are known to invest in innovation and businesses that have at least seven years of financial data and a market value greater than $10 billion.

“To be included in Forbes’ World’s Most Innovative Companies list is an honor for our company and our employees,” said Hervé Hoppenot, CEO of Incyte. “This recognition underscores the passion and pride we at Incyte demonstrate every day, as we work to advance innovative science and identify new molecules that will deliver on our goal of improving the lives of patients with cancer.”

Realtor of the year named

Linda McKinnon, sales professional of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty, was honored as the 2015 top “Realtor of the Year” by the Cecil County Board of Realtors during its annual awards ceremony.

The award was presented in recognition of her commitment to Cecil County, the real estate industry and the Cecil County Board of Realtors.

“I applaud Linda McKinnon for this outstanding achievement. Linda is a successful customer-centric sales professional who is always focused on meeting her customer’s needs. She exemplifies both a high-level of customer service and a commitment to the community she serves,” said Kevin Wiles, president Mid-Atlantic Region, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty.

McKinnon volunteers many hours serving on the Charitable Realtor Association and the West Cecil Health Organization. “I’m deeply touched and grateful for this award and excited to continue to volunteer my time to give back to the Cecil County community where I work.”
