Delaware State Police Homicide detectives have identified the male victim found dead inside of the taxi cab parked on the shoulder of Country Living Road, Millsboro as William Toomey, 45, of Millsboro. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Toomey was a taxi cab operator employed by Delaware Beach Taxi.
Details as to the cause and manner of death are not being released at this time due to the need to not compromise the investigation, troopers reported.
Delaware State Police detectives have released a photo of the taxi. Detectives are requesting that anyone who may have observed this taxi in the Millsboro area between 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. to contact State Police .
No further investigative details to be released at this time as to not compromise the integrity of continued investigative efforts.
