The Technology Forum of Delaware will hold an event focusing on the new Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Laboratory at the University of Delaware.

The event is slated for 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the laboratories at 221 Academy St., Newark. Opened in October, 2013, the ISE Lab brings together students and faculty from various disciplines to teach, learn and conduct research in a collaborative environment.

The laboratories and classrooms are designed for interdisciplinary topics, integrating teaching, learning and research, with the research providing curriculum content.

Vice Provost for Research Charlie Riordan will provide an introduction to the ISE Lab.
