A popular cafe in Sussex County plans to open site in a renovated location on Main Street in Newark.
Arenas Deli and Bar received approval for its plan to occupy space on the 100 block formerly occupied by Pita Pit and Coldstone Creamery
The building will be renovated and according to a rendering will have a few outside tables.
The Newark Post reported the establishment received a special use permit to serve alcohol at the restaurant.
Arenas serves lunch and dinner. It also serves breakfast in a couple of its locations. As its name indicates, Arenas offers a variety of sandwiches and lighter fare.
It has two locations in Rehoboth, the Sussex County Airport in Georgetown, Lewes, Millsboro and Milford.
