An event that takes a satirical look at institutions in the state is back for the 23rd time.
The annual Gridiron Dinner & Show is slated for May 3 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Chase Center on the Riverfront.
The fund-raising event takes pokes at the institutions and the political elite in the state and nation.
This year’s event may be seeing some frantic rewrites of show numbers as Beau Biden last week took another U turn and decided not to run for a third term as Attorney General. Instead, Biden will make preparations for a 2016 gubernatorial bid.
Matt Denn, who had been seen as a probable candidate for governor, will run for Attorney General.
Registration for the event ends today.
The event benefactors last year included the University of Delaware, Center for Political Communication and Delaware State University.
