Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP, Wilmington, announced that, upon stepping down as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware, Chief Justice Myron T. Steele will join the firm as a partner.

Steele was appointed in 2004 by Governor Ruth Ann Minner, becoming the seventh Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court. Prior to his appointment as Chief Justice, he served as a Supreme Court Justice (2000-2004), Vice Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery (1994-2000), Resident Judge of the Delaware Superior Court (Kent County, 1990-1994) and as Superior Court Judge (1988-1990).
During his tenure as a member of the Delaware judiciary, Chief Justice Steele has presided over many of the State’s most significant litigation, including a variety of disputes with respect to the proper governance of Delaware corporations and alternative business entities, publishing over 400 judicial opinions.
