New Castle County Police arrested Kevin Lowman, 46, of Elsmere after a theft of tires was reported from a New Castle warehouse.
On Tuesday, officers were told that 10 tires were missing from the warehouse, with no signs of forced entry.
Police were able to gather enough information that led to one of the warehouse employees, later identified as Lowman, as the suspect.
Police confirmed that the subject had entered the building on Labor Day and removed the tires. Lowman was taken into custody and charged with burglary in the third degree and theft. He was arraigned and released on $4,000 unsecured bail.
