Dynamic Energy recently completed two solar photovoltaic installations  for Estes Express Lines.

The installations included a 308 kilowatt system at Estes’ Elkton, Md. terminal and a 275 kilowatt system at Estes’ Baltimore  terminal.

Dynamic Energy serves Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and other states.

“Estes is constantly evaluating how we can improve our operations to minimize our environmental impact,” said Rob Estes, CEO. “Converting these terminals to solar power generation is a significant step to reducing our carbon footprint, and has the dual benefit of reducing energy costs which helps us remain competitive in today’s marketplace.”

The projects will provide an estimated 93 percent of the current electricity needed by the two facilities.
