Students from around the world come to Del. to for Jr. Achievement Titan Challenge (video)

    Twenty-four students from the U.S. and around the globe convened in northern Delaware this week for the 2012 Global JA Titan Challenge, sponsored by MasterCard Worldwide.

    The Global JA Titan Challenge is based on JA Titan, Junior Achievement’s online simulation that allows teams of high school and university students to act as chief executive officers of virtual manufacturing companies. The teams are prompted to make decisions that affect the profitability and sustainability of their companies as they attempt to outperform their competitors in profit, sales and market share.. The Challenge is comprised of three rounds of competition which began in February 2012.

    Junior Achievement of Delaware president Rob Eppes, said, “We are delighted to showcase Delaware and the region to delegations from China, Russia, Poland, Canada, California, Minnesota and northern New Jersey during this week of JA Titan business competition.”
