Delaware Park plans to break poker record

    The Casino at  Delaware Park’s Ironman Poker Challenge will begin August 25 at noon and will run to completion without breaks. A new Guinness World Record  for the “Longest Continuous Poker Tournament” will be established late Sunday evening after the tournament has run for 36 hours.

    Last year, 376 participants helped to establish a new world record for the “Longest ‘Documented’ Continuous Poker Tournament” at 31 hours and 58 minutes.

     

    This year’s challenge will once again carry a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. The Buy-In is $600, and the tournament is limited to 350 seats (alternates will be seated as seats become available).
