Spirit Airlines will add a flight to and from Philadelphia International Airport and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, beginning in spring of 2013.
Spirit will offer four weekly nonstop flights between DFW and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) beginning April 26, 2013, with service increasing to daily on June 13, 2013.
The airline is known for low fares and charging for all baggage that comes on the aircraft.
Spirit flew into Dallas-Fort Worth just over a year ago in May of 2011. Earlier this month, Spirit announced it is adding nonstop service to Baltimore/Washington from Dallas-Fort Worth.
Spirit will join two other recent additions in Philadelphia, Virgin America and Alaska Airlines.
