Frank DeSantis has retired as manager of the Emerging Enterprise Center incubator in New Castle.

“Sadly for us, but happily for Frank, he has decided to retire.  Managing the EEC has been a second career for Frank and he has done a fantastic job building our program and helping numerous start-up companies launch,” said Bob Chdwick, executive vice president of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce.   “We wish him all the best as he prepares to fully enjoy the fruits of his many years of labor.”

” He had a passion for teaching business fundamentals and for coaching entrepreneurs.  He also had a passion for helping to build a strong entrepreneurial community in Delaware, and he came to work every day thinking about how to advance the cause.  We will miss his energy, enthusiasm, and effectiveness,” Chadwick said.

Before managing the Emerging Enterprise Center, DeSantis had a long career at Sears Holdings before retiring from the company.
