The Wilmington-based marketing communications firm of ab+c has returned to its original name.

“First, let’s talk about our name. This is a people business. As we begin our next chapter, we’ve decided to pay homage to the people who started this company. So we are going back to calling ourselves Aloysius Butler & Clark. But only formally. Feel free to call us AB&C, because that’s what friends do,” an Email blast from the company stated.

The firm had operated under the lower case name  ab+c.

The company last year announced the retirement of co-founder and CEO John Hawkins. See story below:

The agency, which serves health care and other industries, also overhauled its website, now known as ABCCreative.com

“We want to thank you for being a part of AB&C. It’s been an amazing 45 years, and we’re looking forward to what the future holds for us all,” the message concluded.
