Long & Foster opens office in Chadds Ford

ChaddsFordOfficeLong & Foster Real Estate  has opened a new office in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.

The office is at 330 Kennett Pike, Suite 105, and it is a satellite location of the firm’s Greenville  offices.

R.T. Christopher, who also oversees Long & Foster’s Greenville offices, will serve as manager of the new Chadds Ford location.

“We’re committed to growing our presence in the greater Wilmington area and the Brandywine Valley, and our Chadds Ford office allows us to increase our footprint and better serve buyers and sellers throughout the region,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Additionally, having a leader like R.T., who’s worked and lived in the area for many years, provides us with a unique understanding of the local market and the needs of its residents.”

Both Scott and Christopher are sons of real estate executives. Scott’s father Gary,  founded  B. Gary Scott, a large real estate firm and Christopher’s father Richard was the long-time CEO of Patterson-Schwartz.

Christopher has more than 20 years of experience. His expertise in the industry has earned him national recognition from the Realty Alliance, which honored Christopher as one of the leading Realtors in America. He’s  a lifetime member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club.

In addition to Christopher’s involvement in the real estate industry, he’s an active volunteer in the community. Over the years, he has volunteered at Children’s Beach House in Lewes and St. Patrick’s Center in Wilmington.

Christopher has also supported the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County.
