A prototype spacesuit built by Delaware’s ILC Dover for NASA was named a top invention by the technology section of Time.com., the website of the news magazine.
The suit was praised for a design that allows for greater mobility.
ILC Dover’s spacesuits have long been a part of America’s space program. Other products mentioned by Time.com included a drone aircraft, digital camera and even a virtual pet..
ILC Dover is based in Frederica, Del. It offers a variety of inflatables and protective technologies for civilian and government markets.
