Canada has emerged the United States’ number one export partner with over $300 billion worth of goods being traded across the US-Canadian border annually.

Canada is currently the United States’ largest supplier of crude oil and natural gas, accounting for around 16% of the total oil imports to the US. Canada is also the largest supplier of Agricultural products, comprising of around $21 billion worth of Agricultural imports.

The robust trade relationship fostered by the implementation of NAFTA has also lead to the creation of millions of new jobs in each respective country; suggesting that this trade agreement allows for a multitude of new business opportunities throughout the region.
