screen-shot-2016-09-25-at-8-16-57-pmDirect Energy is holding town hall meetings on its electric choice plans.

In 1999, the Delaware General Assembly passed legislation that that allowed Delawareans the freedom to choose their electricity supplier.

However, nearly two decades later, the majority of people in the state still don’t shop around for energy products and services.

The State of Delaware contracted with Direct Energy to jump-start electric choice.

Direct  Energy is now holding town hall meetings to educate residents about their choices related to energy providers.

Light refreshment will be served, and participants will be entered to win a Nest Learning Thermostat valued at $249.
