When Collin O’Mara was appointed as DNREC Secretary by Governor Markell in 2009, he was the youngest state cabinet official in the nation. 

Today, as President and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation, O’Mara leads America’s largest wildlife conservation organization with 52 state and territorial affiliates (including the Delaware Nature Society), 11 Regional Offices, and nearly 6 million members.
