The Delaware Division of Unemployment Insurance reported it had corrected the issue related to the 2024 unemployment tax rate letters mailed in January. The division is part of the state Department of Labor.
Corrected letters dated February 1 were mailed to employers the week of February 5.
A Facebook post and a release on the Delaware government site thanked employers for their patience while the process was completed.
The error was acknowledged in January, with the department indicating that it would let employers know through various means and reissue a corrected letter.
The letters were mailed to all employers, including those whose rate was unaffected by the error, according to the division.
