Chase quietly opened a branch in Dover on Jan. 30, days before a ribbon cutting for its Rehoboth area office.

The opening brought the branch count in Delaware to 11, with Chase now having offices in all three counties.

The address of the Dover bank is 837 N. Dupont Highway on the north end of the capital city.

Last week, a ribbon-cutting, grand opening ceremony was held for the branch near Rehoboth Beach, the 10th to open for Chase. Chase officials and political and business leaders in Sussex, by far the state’s fastest-growing county, attended the event.

The Rehoboth branch opened its doors on Nov. 28. It features in-person banking, teller, wealth management services, self-banking, and an ATM.

Chase now rivals TD and Artisans’ Bank in the number of branches it operates.

No date has been set for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Dover office.

Chase is the nation’s largest bank, and its parent company, JPMorgan Chase, is the largest for-profit employer in Delaware. The Chase credit card operation is headquartered in Delaware.
