Birdie’s, a brand new indoor entertainment center, opened this week.

With several public golf courses nearby, including one co-owned by the University of Delaware and NFL quarterback Joe Flacco, Middletown is the ideal location for Birdie’s concept. Birdie’s features golf for all levels, miniature golf courses, and a bar and restaurant under one roof, a release stated.

Birdie’s plans to be active with charitable initiatives and events. The menu will feature American-style southern food with a special emphasis on using local ingredients. Birdie’s plans to hire about 50 team members.

Birdie’s features two 18-hole blacklight like pirate adventures and retro games.

The eight virtual simulator bays offer sports experiences, including golf, football, soccer, hockey, shooting, archery, arcade, and yard games. Its simulators have the latest in accuracy features and graphics. Golf enthusiasts can choose from 36 simulated real courses, and beginners can benefit from lessons and adjustable degrees of difficulty, according to the release.

Birdie’s takes inspiration from the vibrant personality of the founders’ beloved Aunt Beanie (Birdie was one of her many nicknames), infusing her love for life into every aspect of the experience. From the quality of food, drinks, and games to the warm and welcoming staff, all who visit will feel Beanie’s spirit. Birdie’s also hosts charitable events yearly to give back to the community, following in Beanie’s generous footsteps.
