The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating a Saturday morning commercial fire in Selbyville that destroyed a commercial building.
The blaze, reported shortly before 4 a.m., occurred in the unit block of Mason Drive near the Delaware-Maryland state line in southern Delaware
The Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company arrived on the scene with flames engulfing the Red Sun Custom Apparel shop. Neighboring mutual aid fire companies also responded to assist Selbyville firefighters.
The building was not occupied when the fire was discovered. Fire damage is expected to exceed $750,000. There were no reported injuries. An investigation was launched.
