Bayheads Brewing opens

Bayheads Brewing Co. has opened in Chesapeake City, joining a growing roster of sampling rooms in Cecil County.

The historic canal town draws crowds on the weekends and would seem to be a good location for a craft brewery.

At last count, the county west of Newark and Middletown has seven breweries. When adding in a quartet of locations in neighboring Middletown and a couple in Glasgow, you have enough taprooms for a two-state beer trail.

Bayheads will be open from Thursday through Sunday. No beer list has yet been posted.
