Great Dames Inc. launched its first Giving Circle Pitch Competition benefitting small, women-centric nonprofits.
The winner’s package includes a $5,000 cash award, a business mentor, and a business services portfolio. The application deadline is July 17. The virtual pitch event is Aug. 15. The winner will be announced at a celebration event in late September.
The competition was created to help global women nonprofit leaders increase their effectiveness through funding, mentoring, and a strategic partnership with Great Dames.
“We expect to hear bold ideas from women who are leading efforts to empower women and girls,” says Great Dames CEO Sharon Kelly Hake. “Thousands of influential women and men from the Great Dames community will hear these pitches. So, while there will be one winner, we are giving the floor to many nonprofit leaders whose voices may not otherwise be heard. And the global Dames community will be listening.”
