Boulden Brothers won the annual Spirit of Business Award from the Newark Morning Rotary.
The award was presented at the June Annual Meeting of the club.
The family-owned Newark-based company provides plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning services and supports many non-profit organizations.
The company has supported the Ronald McDonald House and dug its second well in Ghana and is committed to drilling a third one. It has supported the annual Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens’ Blue-Gold game. Boulden also sponsored an adaptive bike for a special needs child through Preston’s March for Energy, and the Sunday Breakfast Mission’s summer basketball camp.
Their biggest project is their annual Christmas For Kids campaign with the Sunday Breakfast Mission, which collected over 2,000 toys last year. The company also supports local golf tournaments, walks, runs, and Little League teams.
