President Joe Biden is expected to spend the weekend in northern Delaware after a Thursday night stay at his home near Greenville.
Biden flew to Syracuse, NY, on Thursday to promote the domestic production of computer chips and then flew back to Delaware.
On Friday, he will travel to Philadelphia to a Pennsylvania Democratic Party event and will arrive back in Delaware later in the evening.
WDEL reported the president is expected to vote early in Delaware. Early voting for statewide and local offices opened up this week, following the Supreme Court’s decision that voided mail-in voting.
Pennsylvania is a key state in efforts by Biden’s party to retain a majority in the U.S. Senate.
Airspace restrictions in northern Delaware remain in place into Monday.
The President typically holds no public events in Delaware during his weekend stays.
