On Friday afternoon, Gov. John Carney held a press briefing and update on the state’s response to COVID-19.
He was joined by Division of Health Director Dr. Karyl Rattay and Emergency Management chief A.J Schall.
Carney and health officials strongly recommend use the masks but have stopped short of making them mandatory.
The briefing also comes after President Donald Trump announced a process for reopening the nation, with governors taking. a lead role.
