Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal industrial accident near Rehoboth Beach.
Troopers were dispatched to Colonial Lane and found an individual pinned beneath a skid steer, a small piece of equipment with attachments that can be used in excavation work, material handling, and other activities.
The victim, a 49-year-old male from Millsboro, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death. His name is being withheld at this time pending the notification of next of kin.
The accident remains under investigation.
