State Sen. David Lawson is taking heat for his stance toward members of the religion after moves that include the introduction of an “American law” bill that outlaws the use of foreign law.
The bill comes despite no evidence that Sharia Law has been imposed.
The state Senator from Kent County has made comments critical of the religion and walked out on an invocation from two clerics at a legislative session.
