After a short run, the Luna Rossa Bistro in Bear has closed.
A Facebook message confirmed the closing that came a few months after the August opening of the restaurant.
The restaurant reopened under a new name after Ristorante Marco owner Marco Rizzo announced the business would be passed on to his son. Rizzo had faced sexual assault charges involving an underage employee. The charges were dropped when the accuser could not be found by her family or authorities.
Marco was a popular spot for smaller business parties and dinners as well as family get-togethers that included Christmas Eve’s Feast of the Seven Fishes.
