NAI Emory Hill announces commercial leases, aquatic center land purchase

NAI Emory Hill, New Castle,  announced the following transactions:

  • United Cocoa Processor, Inc. leased 28,050  square feet of industrial space at 100 Lake Drive in Glasgow. A manufacturer of cocoa products such as cocoa liquor, cocoa butter, and cocoa powders for sale to confectionery industries domestically and internationally, United Cocoa was founded in 1992 and leased the space to accommodate its expansion. NAI Emory Hill broker Neil Kilian represented the landlord in the transaction.
  • A new restaurant, Viva Chicken, opened in Churchmans Place, the first location in Delaware for expanding  Peruvian cuisine chain.  NAI Emory Hill’s Jim O’Hara Jr., Jim O’Hara III, and Kevin O’Hara represented the landlord in the lease of 4,000 square foot. Churchmans Place is located on Churchmans Road in the Christiana area and has space available.
  • Bayhealth renewed its lease for 3,099 square feet at the Smyrna Health and Wellness Center, 100 Main Street in Smyrna, for its sleep center.  Bayhealth is a leading healthcare organization in central and southern   NAI Emory Hill broker Dave Morrison represented the landlord in the transaction. About  29,000 square feet of medical office space is still available at Smyrna Medical Center.
  • Streamline STC, LLC, also known as the Wilmington Aquatic Club (WAC) and Swim School, Inc., purchased 3.28 acres at 700 A Street near the Riverfront to build a regional aquatic facility and Olympic-sized pool.  WAC was founded in 1954 and has grown to more than 175 competitive swimmers. NAI Emory Hill sales & leasing specialist Tim Plemmons and broker Neil Kilian represented Streamline in the land purchase.
