Gunnip & Company announces promotions

Gunnip & Company CPAs recognized the following promotions in our tax department.

Christopher A. Smith, CPA has been promoted to Senior Manager. He has been with the firm for 5 years; his focus is on small business tax and high net worth individuals. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware.

Alex K. Masciantonio, CPA has been promoted to Manager. He has been with Gunnip & Company since 2011; his focus areas are tax preparation, tax research, and tax planning for private companies and individuals. He received his Bachelors degree in Accounting from West Chester University in 2010 and his Masters in Taxation from Florida Atlantic University in 2014.

Kayla M. Moletteri has been promoted to Senior Accountant. She has been with Gunnip & Company since 2015; her focus areas are tax preparation, tax estimate preparation, and tax extension preparation for private companies and individuals. She received her Bachelors degree in Accounting & Finance from West Chester University in 2014.

Jacqueline M. Doody, CPA has been promoted to Supervisor. She has been with the firm since 2012. Her focus is Entrepreneurial Services, Tax planning and preparation, reviews, compilations and financial statement preparation for a variety of small, privately owned businesses and individuals. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware in 2012 and her Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware in 2013. 

Rachel A. Gross has been promoted to Senior Accountant. She has been with Gunnip & Company for one year. Her focus area is audit and tax preparation. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from West Chester University in 2016. Gross is studying to become a CPA.

Scott M. Scherer has been promoted to Senior Accountant. He has been with Gunnip & Company for two years. His focus area is auditing for private companies, non-profits, and employee benefit plans. He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2016.

Matthew B. Woodruff has been promoted to Senior Accountant. He has been with Gunnip & Company for one year. His focus area is auditing for private companies and non-profits. He is a graduate of West Chester University, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy/Economics in 2014.

Regency Healthcare names administrator

Regency Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center’s new Administrator is Tina Larose.

Larose, who began her job at Regency in June. She wrote the  book In Coaching Natural Attitudes, the Wilmington native explains how empathy, enthusiasm and an understanding of a healthy and positive attitude are at the heart of healthcare.

Larose earned a Ph.D. from Capella University with a dissertation on prosocial behavior as it relates to why people serve.

Long & Foster Real Estate welcomed Debbie Christie to its office in Greenville, Delaware. Christie is an experienced Realtor, with two years of experience in the real estate field.

Christie earned her bachelor of arts degree from Widener University.  She began as a landlord in the years following college and became a licensed Delaware Realtor in 2016.  Christie has been a professional project manager for more than 25 years.

Long & Foster Real Estate welcomed Nichole Connolly to its office in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Connolly is an experienced Realtor with 14 years of experience in the real estate field.

Connolly received her real estate license in 2014 after having worked as real estate administrator for more than a decade. Prior to her career in real estate, Connolly worked in management for Happy Harry’s Discount Drugs, Inc.
