Storm leads to cancellation of Alison Krauss concert at Freeman Stage

Flooding was reported on the south edge of Delaware. 

Route 1 was closed at Route 54 at Fenwick Island,  the Delaware Department of Transportation reported.

The DEOS monitoring system reported 4.3 inches of rain fell in Dagsboro, a community near Fenwick, with Georgetown seeing more than three inches. 

A concert featuring country-folk singer and violinist Alison Krauss, slated for Saturday night at the Freeman Stage in Selbyville, was canceled, due to weather concerns. The concert will not be scheduled and refunds will be offered.

Flooding was also reported in nearby Ocean City, MD. The Baltimore Sun reported Coastal Highway was closed as 7.5 inches of rain fell on the coastal community.

Scattered road closings were reported around the state as heavy rainfall hit portions of the state.
