Snow missed northern Delaware on Monday morning.

The National Weather Service earlier reported the area could see one to two inches of snow from the storm that will come early in the work week.

The estimate was later reduced to less than an inch as temperatures stayed around freezing. The DEOS monitoring system reported no snow. Sunday saw temperatures in the 60s. However, temperatures dropped overnight as the storm approached and brought rain

A Winter  Weather Advisory has been issued for Monday morning. The forecast calls for a wintry mix developing late Sunday night,  changing to all snow after midnight and continuing through Monday morning.

The higher amounts of snow are more likely north of Philadelphia.

Travel  could become hazardous to the north  due to slippery roads and reduced visibility in some areas

April snow is not unknown in Delaware and the state has been dealing with a succession of late winter and early spring storms over the past month.
