Morris, Nichols names Gorman as chief operating officer

GormanMorris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP, Wilmington,  welcomed  Janeanne R. Gorman as its Chief Operating Officer.   Gorman brings decades of experience in legal management and administration, most recently as the Executive Director at Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A.

“On behalf of Morris Nichols, we are pleased to welcome Janeanne as our COO,” said Executive Committee Chair, Rodger D. Smith II.  “We expect that her varied experience in law firm management and demonstrated leadership skills will prove beneficial to the continued success of our firm.”

As COO,   Gorman will be responsible for providing leadership of the business and administrative operations, and ensuring that the firm achieves both short and long term goals.

Of her new role, Ms. Gorman said, “I am excited about joining Morris Nichols, getting re-acquainted with the Wilmington business community, understanding our valued client base and working collaboratively with both Firm management and our strong and talented administrative team to set and achieve goals.”

Gorman is a summa cum laude graduate of Rutgers University and holds a B.A. in Accounting.  She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
