DuPont declared one of its last dividends.
The company declared a third quarter common stock dividend of 38 cents per share payable Sept. 12, 2016, to stockholders of record Aug. 15, 2016.
This is the 448th consecutive quarterly dividend since the company’s first dividend in the fourth quarter of 1904.
Regular quarterly dividends of $1.12-1/2 per share on the $4.50 series preferred stock and $0.87-1/2 cents per share on the $3.50 series preferred stock also were declared, both payable Oct. 25, 2016, to stockholders of record Oct. 7, 2016.
Pending regulatory approvals, DuPont is slated to merge with Dow this year, with the combined companies spun off into the three separate publicly traded corporations. The flagship company will combine agricultural businesses of Dow and DuPont.
