Mayor Dennis P. Williams joined Downtown Visions and Councilwoman Hanifa Shabazz to welcome Masala Kitchen, a restaurant specializing in 100% vegetarian offerings, to Market Street.
Kanak Bhavsar, co-owns the business with her son, Jaysheel Bhavsar, marking the second Masala Kitchen location they have opened, and offering a wide variety of Indian and vegetarian dishes, including well-known items such as falafel and roti.
“We welcome Mrs. Bhavsar and Masala Kitchen to downtown Wilmington,” shared Mayor Williams. “Your decision to open a downtown location further supports our assertion that Wilmington is open for business.”
