The University of Delaware’s Vita Nova restaurant is ranked No. 1 out of hundreds of Philadelphia-area restaurants by the Open Table reservations website.
The restaurants were selected by diners who use the reservations service.
The restaurant is staffed by students at UD’s nationally known Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management program.
On the list from second to 10th are:
- Bibou,French, south Philadelphia.
- Toscano, Steak, Bordentown, NJ.
- Final Cut Steakhouse – Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, Grantville, PA.
- Vedge, vegetarian, Center City Philadelphia
- Vetri, Italian, Center City Philadelphia.
- Franklinville Inn, steak, Franklinville, PA,
- Puck, Contemporary American, Doylestown, PA
- Laurel, French, Philadelphia, Passyunk, Ave.
- Olce Pizza, Skipjack, PA.
Vita Nova will reopen next month. It operates during much of the school year serving lunch and dinner.
Lunch is served Monday through Friday, with dinner served Wednesday through Friday.
